eventful night in green hills
Last night we had a quite eventful night for our concert at the Starbucks in Green Hills (a suburb of Nashville). We played an hour set from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., but as we were arriving and unloading, our second cousin(?) Kent, who lives in Indianapolis, randomly walked up and said hi.
He was on his way back home from a trip to see friends, and just randomly walked into the Starbucks the day before, and saw our poster, and told his friends, "hey, those are my cousins!" So we did a little catching up in the Starbucks parking lot before our show. Unfortunately he had to leave before the show to make the 5 hour drive back to Indiana, but he took a CD to listen on the way back.
Then, during our show, a very interesting group of people walked in, who were having a mini-reunion at the store. We came to find out, some of them were from Seattle, WA, near where we used to live. We had some very interesting conversations after the show.
Next weekend we'll be in Franklin, TN (a town about 15 minutes out of Nashville), before heading back to WV to do a promo tour for our big upcoming concert and CD release party at the civic center. Everyone come and see us!
