I'm a representative of CCM Indie (CCM Magazine's New Indie Artist Community). I sat in on a worship music performance workshop with Tom Jackson from Tom Jackson Productions (http://tomjacksonproductions.com/) and he has noticed the same thing about "moments". Moments are why we watch films and why we listen to music. The "moment" we stop experiencing these moments, we'll stop consuming music and films. I think it's a great insight from both of your perspectives and I'm glad I stumbled across your blog! Thanks for contributing and keep it coming!

Also, feel free to bring your conversation to our CCM Indie Community (I noticed you've already joined on Facebook! Thanks!)

Being extras was cool, the scene we spent 7 hours on was about 2 minutes long, it was very funny, and oh, by the way, the movie is Blue Like Jazz.

You guys Rock! Your music was one of the highlights of the Presence Conference for me. I'm binge-ing on your CD's as I write. Dudes..."Clouds" and "Anger" are some of the most powerful sermons I've ever heard. Can't wait to be with you again, and get you to Oklahoma. You were blessed to be a blessing and you blessed.

Yours in that New Cloud Creation

Hi! Great songs! Never heard of you before I saw your link on the Sarah Palin Facebook page. I am on there as Jeff Greer. Look me up sometime. Anyway, I really liked your writing about time passing. I just wanted to share with you what someone told me years and years ago...
When you're five, a year is one fifth of your entire life; when you're fifty, a year is only one fiftieth.
...I never forgot that and it's true...the fractions get smaller and smaller and go by faster and faster.

Later,

PS - My favorite songs so far are Anger and Feel...but they're all good.

While kool-aid is a delightfully refreshing and tasty drink, the Taliban ARE still in Afghanistan. You are correct.

There were several attacks that were averted while we were over there (not around us), and they warned us what would happen if a terrorist propped a rocket up against a wall, and set it off.

But we were just trying to tell you the name of the building. :)
