Normal people don't do this.

We left Nashville at 11pm, and headed for WV. You lose an hour on the trip, and it's normally a 6 hour drive, so you do the math. We arrived in WV at 6:20am WV time, where we slept in our manager's driveway until she woke up.

We got up and headed for the Lincoln County High School, where we played two concerts back to back in the rather cool school auditorium. While we were setting up, the school decided to call in the newspapers, so a very awesome news reporter with a very strong Irish accent showed up, and decided to follow us from the high school to our next location: a cow field far out in the country.

So we headed to the cow field, where we proceeded to be photographed with some cows. Cow fields look pretty in photos, but are not pretty in real life. Just to let you know.

We left from the cow field and headed towards Charleston. In the Charleston Civic Center, we surveyed the venue, assessed the stage, and tried to determine how the sound system would work.

We left the Civic Center and headed towards Huntington, where we played at fun show at a new place called The House of David. Very nice people.

We actually slept Friday night.

Saturday morning we headed to St. Albans to do a performance and talk about what we do. After meeting and re-meeting several very interesting people, we headed back towards Huntington to play at the FYE in the Huntington Mall.

After finishing there, we went to Borders in the Huntington Mall, and met some of our family and friends who happened to be there.

On Sunday we drove home.

Slow weekend.
