Redding Brothers Involved in Atlanta, GA Tornado

The Redding Brothers were in Atlanta, GA this past Wednesday-Sunday, and were in their downtown hotel when Friday night's tornado tore through the city.

"Well, we basically were resting after a long day at the APCA national conference," said Gabriel, "laying in bed half asleep, when suddenly Josiah noticed the wind pick up, and saw pieces of shingle and all kinds of debris just filling the skies, swirling overhead."

The band said it was a surreal view from their 8th floor hotel room.

"Our room was kind of situated facing the inside of a big "C" shaped building looking out over the business district of downtown," said Josiah. "I think the "C" shape of the buildings did something strange with the wind, and created a sort of miniature twister, full of debris, right outside our window. Everyone was staring up at the sky — it was truly freaky."

The tornado sadly resulted in at least 27 injuries and 2 fatalities, according to local news sources. You can read more about the tornado and the damage it caused at the following links:
